What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small files that are placed on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies, such as local storage, can also store information in your browser. This policy explains their use in the current MedWellGo website.
Cookies and similar technologies can recognize a device and store preferences or past actions. Their use must match the features actually enabled on the Website.
How We Use Cookies
The current public website stores your selected light or dark appearance in local storage under the key “medwellgo-theme”. It contains the appearance choice, not your medical documents or inquiry details. It remains until you change it or clear the site’s browser data. Your selected language is represented in the page address, rather than saved in a language cookie by the public application.
Hosting and security providers may use technical information and necessary cookies to operate the Website. Contact us for details about infrastructure relevant to your visit.
Disabling Cookies
You can control and/or delete cookies through your browser settings. You can also set your browser to block cookies or notify you when cookies are being sent.
Clearing local storage removes your saved appearance preference. Blocking browser storage may affect preference persistence. The public inquiry service does not require an account or login cookie.
Account and Login Cookies
Patient accounts and public provider logins are not enabled in this version. The public inquiry service does not use an account cookie to keep patients logged in. Any future account feature will require an updated notice covering its actual storage and session behavior.
Session Cookies
There is no patient login session in the current public inquiry service. Hosting or security infrastructure may operate technical sessions; any such cookies must be documented for the actual deployed service rather than assumed to disappear at logout.
Forms and Communication
The public inquiry form does not use an application cookie to remember medical information or contact details for future visits. Inquiry information and optional documents are sent to the service when you submit the form and are handled under the Privacy Policy. Browser autofill is controlled by your browser settings.
Preference Cookies
The Website remembers the appearance setting you explicitly choose using local storage, not a preference cookie. You can change light or dark appearance with the appearance control or clear the stored choice through your browser’s site-data settings.
Analytics and Performance Cookies
Google Analytics, advertising pixels and optional visitor-tracking scripts are not enabled in the current public website code. We do not present them as active services. If optional analytics or advertising technologies are introduced, this notice must be updated and the required consent mechanism must operate before those technologies are activated.
Third-Party Cookies
Links to services such as WhatsApp open external websites or applications. Those services apply their own privacy and cookie policies when you use them. A link is not an embedded tracking widget. Any future embedded content or third-party tracking must be reviewed and described before activation.
Hosting or security providers may process technical data or set necessary cookies. You can inspect cookies in your browser’s site-data settings and contact us for more information.
Data Protection and Legal Basis
Cookies and similar technologies involving personal data must be assessed under applicable law, including Turkish Law No. 6698 (KVKK) and GDPR where applicable. A Privacy Policy alone is not a substitute for any consent required for optional tracking.
Where consent is required, optional technologies must remain inactive until an appropriate choice has been made, and withdrawal must be possible. The current public site does not offer an analytics preference panel because optional analytics and advertising scripts are not enabled.
Subject to applicable law, you may request information about processing, access, correction or deletion, and withdraw consent for processing that relies on consent. See the Privacy Policy for contact and request information.
